Welcome to our Cutting Department. This is where your cartons are cut and creased.

After the Printing Department releases a job, our paper handlers will give it one final check, and then it is sent to the Cutting Department for the next process. Our Pressmen will then Make Ready on the appropriate Cutting press. Each sheet is pulled off the stack and carried through the cutting press with grab bars. As it proceeds it is pressure cut and then waste is stripped off before being delivered to the finish stack on the opposite side of the Cutting press. These finish stacks are then taken to have the remaining waste stripped off via jackhammer, carefully putting the finish goods in baskets by die numbers then sending to the finishing department.
